We are Bug Fixers - Lesson 1 - Y3 & Y4

 Learning Objectives:  

To develop a number of strategies for finding errors in programs 

To increase their knowledge and understanding of Scratch 


Success Criteria:

I can find and correct the bugs in the multiplication program

All children should be able to:

Ch complete self assessment of previous computing module

1 – Complete self assessment for module last term

Open the Sencolewis.co.uk website

2 - Login to Scratch your own personal login so that you can work at home and at school.

3 – explore “x table” algorithm


Most Children should be able to:

Complete 1 - 3

4 – work out how to get past 11x3 – what code needs to change?

5 - Add own background to the game

6 – Change the sprite


Some Children should be able to: (Greater Depth activities)

Complete 1 - 6

7 - (Greater Depth)

Save your work in Scratch and share - view animations that your friends have made

Change the code to use repeated addition

Change the code to use add, subtract or ultiply by a different number
