Testing, identifying and predicting what may happen

 Learning Objectives:  

To play a computer game and identify what happens 

To use logic and reasoning to predict what will happen


Success Criteria:

  • I can describe carefully what happens in computer games
  • I can use logical reasoning to make predictions of what a program will do

All children should be able to:

1 – Open the Sencolewis.co.uk website

2  - Play the tennis game


Most Children should be able to:

Complete 1 - 3

4 - Examine the code and predict the locations of the bats and how they work

5 – Predict what the code is and the planning behind it


Some Children should be able to: (Greater Depth activities)

Complete 1 - 5

6 – Copy the code to make their own version of the game, how does the algorithm keep the score?

Extra fun - Change the code from an adding game to make this a (x) or (-) game!
